Oh Yeah! I was about to post this here~ as I just posted in my own blog heheh

I think the meaning & concept behind is really strong. An old man who live under global warming, an old man who build his own house.. every level tell a little about him, that this tower that he built is basically represent him.. or any of us..

this short tell our life in a unique way, very simple but something we never thought of..

For extra, this 'french' look short is produced by Japanese!

Hi there ^__^
I do like the style of this film a lot.
They use very limited color pallet... warm and cold color to distinguish the flashback sequences.

SPOILER!

To me, I feel like he can't left his house because there are so much memories there...

I watch this shot until the sequence when his daughter was born or the sequence when he and his wife helped each other building this house brick by brick. Form there I think that the character wanted to spend the rest of his life here where all the things he loves happened and went away...

I didn't think about the global warming until Ben mention it lol. Oh yes. Now I understand why he lived it the water world!
